KARLA PUNO GARCIA

Karla Puno Garcia is the recipient of the Richmond Theatre Critics Best Choreography Award for her original work on IN THE HEIGHTS  (Virginia Repertory Theatre.) Short Film: The Spot (San Francisco and DC Dance Film Festival selection). Music Videos: Kindness, Casablanca Records; The Knocks, Atlantic Records. Hamilton’s 2016 Gypsy of the Year piece “America,” (Best Presentation).  Karla was one of six ‘Broadway Bound choreographers’ selected to present at this year’s DANCEBREAK showcase. She is currently choreographing Prospect Theater’s Off-Broadway show 1001 NIGHTS AND ONE DAY.
